The Charles Ave AdWords Account Audit

adwords-account-audit

Editor’s Note: As of July 2018, AdWords is now known as Google Ads.

The AdWords account audit is one of the best ways to put Charles Ave Marketing to the test. For a flat fee, I examine your AdWords account history and put together a detailed report of what’s working in your account, what’s not, and how to improve it.

The audit is perfect for businesses that have AdWords account history but are frustrated by a lack of results.

Watch this video to explain the Charles Ave audit process:

“The final audit was very comprehensive and included more information than I expected. The data in the audit looked at our existing campaigns from new angles that shed light on exactly what needed to be done. It was worth the expense because the recommendations will end up saving us more money than the cost of the audit.”

Brad Moss, founder, BK Media Group

What’s included

Your account audit will include recommendations regarding campaign setup and organization, ad spend, keywords, ad copy and banner creative, Quality Score, and landing pages. I look at any wasteful spending that may be plaguing your performance, as well as new ideas to experiment and test.

The Charles Ave AdWords Account Audit Process

  1. We have a team phone call to discuss your past frustrations and future goals. We’ll talk about your requirements, your budget, and any issues that may have arisen. I’ll ask you questions about your business and your customers, and answer any questions you may have about the AdWords platform.
  2. I’ll delve into your account history. I won’t change anything – at least not yet. I’m simply looking around and observing trends, finding areas of opportunity, and familiarizing myself with what you’ve tried in the past.
  3. I put together a detailed report of my findings, including what’s working, what’s not, and what I recommend.
  4. We’ll meet again to go over the report together, line by line. I’ll talk you through what I found, and I’ll use plain English – not marketing jargon –  to explain how it could be better. I encourage you to ask lots of questions so that you understand how to make your campaigns work smarter.
  5. If you have the resources to implement the suggestions in the report, great! If not, we can discuss next steps and how Charles Ave Marketing can work with you to improve your campaigns.
